The Company as a Mirror of Our Being
Again and again, we meet people who ask themselves: Why am I working in this company? Why do I encounter these particular supervisors, colleagues, or structures? The answer often lies deeper than we think: everything that meets us on the outside mirrors what lives within us. The company we work for is also an expression of our consciousness - a living reflection of our inner world.
A Patriarchal Company
Irène, a dedicated employee, has worked in her company for many years. Clothing is her passion - and for just as long, she has been devoted to inner consciousness work. Recently, she applied for a seminar that was particularly close to her heart. For weeks, her vacation request went unanswered. When she followed up, she was told that too many employees were already absent.
But Irène didn’t give up. She found a solution: a colleague offered to step in for her. Still, the management hesitated and eventually declined. Only after a calm, clear conversation in which Irène stood up for herself was her vacation finally approved.
This experience became a mirror for Irène. It showed her that the time had come to live her inner strength. By standing up for herself, she began to dissolve old insecurities – with awareness, trust, and courage. Now she is ready to take a new step: to find a workplace where appreciation and respect are natural.
A Family-Run Business
The atmosphere is quite different in a small agricultural enterprise with about fifteen employees. The woman of the house leads indoors with heart and clarity, her husband outdoors – both carry responsibility in their areas, yet everything is guided by a spirit of cooperation. Employees are provided with meals, and requests for days off are discussed and resolved together.
Paul, one of the employees, shares: «I look forward to lunch every day – it’s simply excellent. And I know I’m valued here.»
Paul is a farmer himself and, on certain days, must prioritize his own farm. His employer fully understands and brings in a retired worker who is happy to help. This familial environment reflects Paul’s inner world: he grew up in a family where love, warmth, and trust were natural – and these same qualities now shape his workplace.
Conclusion
Our working life is a living mirror of our soul. Whatever we experience outwardly – whether challenge, tension, support, or appreciation – always reflects our inner state. When we begin to heal our inner insecurities, release old patterns, and expand our awareness, not only do our thoughts and feelings change. We naturally begin to attract more loving, harmonious people into our lives – including in our professional environment.
