Tonkiri – The Connection to the Divine
«Tonkiri» means «hummingbird» in the language of the Incas - a being of unique purity that feeds exclusively on the nectar of flowers and is revered as a guardian of love, magic, and heart-opening. Among indigenous peoples like the Mayas, Incas, and Aztecs, the hummingbird was considered a direct messenger of the Divine, bringing the power of the sun and light into people's lives.
The core of our work is shamanism. We have learned from various indigenous peoples of the Amazon, but our true teachers and masters are the sacred plants of the rainforest. It is our wish and purpose to share this ancient knowledge with people who are ready to face their shadow sides and take the next step in their personal development.
Gabriela Tobler-Mogrovejo
Raised in Lima, Peru, Gabriela initially trained as a graphic designer before completing her education in fashion design and tailoring. Her paternal grandmother was a true Quechua, speaking only the language of the Incas. Her mother was very open-minded and had always been involved in shamanism.
In South America, Gabriela learned various self-healing techniques, opening her path to personal healing. These include training in smudging with Vrylak Faemanna from Venezuela, cacao ceremony facilitation and sweat lodge rituals with Veronica Sarmiento from Mexico, womb healing with Maries la Rosa from Peru, and her training in Lomi Lomi bodywork and Lomi Lomi NUI. Gabriela focuses particularly on the feminine aspect of healing.
Peter Tobler
Peter worked for over 30 years in the industry, starting as a mechanic in a workshop and eventually holding leadership roles in sales and personnel management for international companies. In 2000, insurmountable health problems forced him to question his daily life and seek alternative paths. During a trip to Peru, he first encountered the power of sacred plants and the metaphysical knowledge of indigenous peoples. This ancient wisdom has captivated him ever since.
This led to many years of traveling to the rainforest for multi-week retreats. After training in family constellations, he began to focus deeply on the Akashic Records. Since then, Peter has continuously expanded his knowledge and, in 2022, was initiated as a healer by Javier Arevalo Shuano, a highly respected shaman from Peru. This initiation enables him to share his knowledge in greater depth with others and to perform initiations himself.
Philosophy
Following the wisdom of indigenous peoples, our work strives for a harmonious balance between masculine and feminine energy. The shamanic woman is seen as a direct representation of nature. Her greatest strength lies in her connection to the earth, the plants, their spirits, and her ability to restore harmony. The shaman is the warrior, the protector of the people, the enforcer of the order of love, the hunter, the provider of safety, and the keeper of sacred space. Ultimately, we aim to contribute to restoring balance within individuals and on Earth. We do this by passing on everything we have learned during our years of self-healing!
